So unbelievably proud t0 have had my Clovelly reduction linocut selected for the Ironbridge Printmaking Competition Exhibition this year. Many thanks to the judging panel!
A few weeks ago I made the journey up to the riverside village of Ironbridge, which is the home of the world's first iron bridge (hence the name), and is insanely picturesque.
After a lovely morning meandering around the village streets, and spotting deer in the adjacent woodlands, I attended the exhibition opening at Ironbridge Fine Arts and was blown away by the quality and diversity of contemporary printmaking that I found my little linocut hung amongst. It really was a wonderful day, and I'm feeling extremely honoured to be part of it.
The exhibition runs until 22 November, and if you're unable to make it in person, you can check out the Ironbridge Fine Arts website for the feast of printmaking goodness on show, as well as the competition prize winners.
