Focus II
This is an original linocut, handprinted from my home workshop in North Devon.
It is the second in a set of editions and depicts a ginger cat focussing on goldfish in a tank. See my other listings for editions featuring a tabby cat and a whippet. There may be other animals to the series in the future.
Details
- Image size is approx 14 x 9.5cm, plus generous border to allow for framing.
- Limited edition of 50
- Each print is numbered and signed by myself on the front of the artwork.
- Oil based printmakers ink, on 145gsm acid-free printmakers paper.
- Multi-block technique, where the various colours are printed from separate blocks of lino.
Please note, I have tried my best to photograph the artwork in such a way that its true colours come across, but please be aware that colour will vary slightly from screen to screen. Also, since this work is handprinted, there are natural variances and minor imperfections in each print, which adds to the handmade charm and unique nature of the linocut.Framing
- If you choose the "unframed" option, the print will arrive unframed and unmounted, packaged in a cellophane sleeve, backed with acid free mount board.
- If you choose the "framed" option, the print will arrive in a smooth white solid wood 9x7inch frame, fronted with glass - please see photo 3. It comes with hanging fixings attached to the back, so ready to go on wall.
