Croyde Bay
Handmade, limited edition linocut of the beautiful Croyde Bay in North Devon, UK. The view is taken from Baggy Point and looks across the bay to Saunton Down, with the Torridge coastline just visible in the far distance.
This is an original linocut, handprinted from my home workshop in North Devon. It can be bought separately but was made alongside three other prints, "Putsborough Beach" "Woolacombe" "Saunton Sands", as a set of four North Devon beach views. The set of four is for sale as a separate listing in my shop, for a reduced price.
Details
- Image size is approx 13 x 20cm, plus generous border to allow for framing.
- Limited edition of 40
- Each print is numbered and signed by myself on the front of the artwork.
- Caligo Safewash printmakers ink, on 145gsm acid-free archival printmakers paper.
- Multiblock technique, where the various colours are printed from separate blocks of lino.
Please note, I have tried my best to photograph the artwork in such a way that its true colours come across, but please be aware that colour will vary slightly from screen to screen. Also, since this work is handprinted, there are natural variances and minor imperfections in each print, which adds to the handmade charm and unique nature of the linocut.Framing
If you choose the "unframed" option, the print will arrive unframed and unmounted, packaged in a cellophane sleeve, backed with acid free mount board.
-If you choose the "mounted" option, the print will arrive secured in a white mount to fit a standard A4 frame, backed with acid free mount board. Please see photo 3.
- If you choose the "framed" option, the print will arrive in a smooth white solid-wood A4 frame, fronted with glass. Please see photo 4. The frame comes with hanging fixings attached to the back, so ready to go on wall.
